About Us

Let Justice flow like a river, righteousness like a never failing stream. Amos 5:24

Pastor Paula Daniels founded Forgotten Children, Inc. in 2006 after answering the call of God to do this work. Her goal was to provide hope to girls on the street. That mission has been fulfilled through Rachel's House of Healing, which provides a safe place to stay for up to five girls as well as two drop in/resource centers located in Long Beach and Lynwood that offers a hot meal, advocacy, counseling, case management, resources, support and a 180 Intervention program.

Our continuing mission is to educate the public about human trafficking and its impact on the life of a girl. While you may see television images of victims throughout the world, it happens here in the United States, too. Houston, Texas and the state of Arizona are the two main areas in the United States for human trafficking, based on supply and demand. Most victims are ages 12 to 17, and their lifespan is about seven years once they get involved in human trafficking.

Forgotten Children, Inc. is committed to assisting women and children caught in the vicious cycle of human trafficking in our communities. We operate on a local and state level with a hands-on approach to reaching out to women and children on the street along with those involved in human trafficking or sex trades.

Coming to a City Near You

We are going city to city with a goal of taking our campaign across the United States. Human trafficking is going on in America, perhaps even in your neighborhood. Girls are being lured out of their homes, onto a plane, and out of town within an hour. Women are even involved in kidnapping girls and getting them into human trafficking. Statistics reveal there are more than 27 million people worldwide are enslaved and held captive.
